Nordic Children’s Media Festival 2011 was held in Ebeltoft in Denmark from 25. May to 28. May 2011. 150 employees that produces radio, television and websites for kids gathered to academic festival, and to choose the winners among the best radio, television and web contributions produced in the Nordic countries over the past two years.

The wide range of recording formats (DSLR cameras – Nikon / Canon, RED, Alexa and
small helmet-mounted cameras, XDCAM HD, P2, etc) places greater demands on the planning of
workflow.
After a review of different challenges at different recording formats and an
in-depth demonstration of a selection of these, participants get hands-on with a
complete workflow from shooting to master.

About
Nordic Children’s TV Festival changed its name to Nordic Media Festival for Children because Prix Nordica for Radio and Nordic Children’s TV Festival merged.

Radio and TV competitions will be held separately, while the lectures, workshops and social activities will be common.

When
To be held in week 21 from Wednesday 25th of May to Saturday 28th May of with closing party and stay over to Sunday Mat 29th .

Where
As all previous NBF’s this festival will take place in Ebeltoft, Denmark, at the European Film College. EFC . EFC has all the right facilities needed to create a superb and professional environment for the venue. The terrific bonus at EFC is the exquisite cooking-team that will provide well for all participants during the festival.

The Town
The town of Ebeltoft is an old Danish town, situated on the “nose” of Jutland. Read more about the area here: Visitdjursland . Ebeltoft is a cosy town, with cobblestone, the old city-hall, the frigate Jutland, glassblowers, see-view and much more.

Access
